CHALLENGE YOUR PROJECT AND GAIN REPUTATION
The Steel Lion Award is an initiative that celebrates and inspires structural engineer talents from all over the world to compete with their best projects made in Consteel. The Consteel software is well-acknowledged as a unique and advanced solution for steel structural design.
With The Steel Lion Award, we would like to honor pioneer solutions and forward-thinking in steel structural design projects helped by Consteel.
Starting from 2026, the competition introduces new application categories, providing even more opportunities for engineers to showcase their expertise and innovative approaches.

SUBMISSION CATEGORIES AND PRIZES
All winners will be announced during the International Consteel Meetup on 13 May 2026 and promoted on our website and social channels.
EVALUATION
All the projects submitted to the Steel Lion Award where the solution includes the use of scripting technologies (Pangolin or Descript) will be automatically evaluated for the Pangolin award.
From now on, the competition introduces new application categories: Steel Lion, Pangolin, Cold-formed structure, Small-scale project, FALCON, and Student.
Important to note that the size of the project or the size of the Consteel model is not a key factor during the evaluation, so the smaller projects with creative, unique solutions are warmly welcome. Starting from 2026, the new application categories ensure that a wide variety of project types and innovations can be recognized.
The jury will take the following factors into account:
The level of Consteel usage in the structural design – the quality of the Consteel model
The complexity of the structural design demand
The uniqueness, technical level, and creativity of the structural solution
The level of presentation (description and number of attachments)
MEET THE JURY
The submitted projects will be evaluated by an international Consteel team of structural engineering professionals and academic professors.
